Ingredients Tiramisu recipe Original Italian

  • 500g mascarpone
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 2 cold espressos
  • 4cl Marsala
  • 150 g ladyfingers
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened


  1. Beat the egg yolks and sugar with a mixer until fluffy. Gradually stir in the mascarpone cream with a whisk until the sugar has dissolved, i.e. the cream is no longer grainy.
  2. Pour the espresso into a shallow bowl along with the brandy. Provide a casserole dish. Briefly dip one half of the ladyfingers in the espresso and line the bottom of the mold with it.
  3. Pour in half of the mascarpone mixture and smooth out. Spread a second layer of ladyfingers on top and cover with the remaining mascarpone cream.
  4. Place in the fridge for approx. 5 hours. Sprinkle with unsweetened cocoa before serving. Divide into eight equal pieces. Buon appetito!
