Ingredients Speculaas Tiramisu

  • 2 eggs
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 500g mascarpone
  • 10ml Vin Santo
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 400 g speculoos
  • Powdered sugar for garnish
  • 4 cold espressos

Preparation of speculoos tiramisu

  1. Separate the eggs.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the egg yolks with the sugar. When the sugar is completely dissolved, stir in the mascarpone and vin santo.
  3. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff, then carefully fold into the mascarpone and egg mixture.
  4. Now put the mascarpone cream in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  5. Put the espresso in a large plate and gradually dip each speculoos into the espresso and then place them next to each other in the casserole dish.
  6. Cover the speculoos with the mascarpone cream. Repeat the layering process three times.
  7. Crumble three speculoos biscuits and decorate over the tiramisu.
  8. Let the tiramisu rest in the fridge overnight.
  9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
