Crock Pot Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe

Please note-this recipe actually tastes like Alfredo sauce… This is another way to make “traditional” Alfredo, but trust me, it tastes just like it… It may sound strange, but I am obsessed with Alfredo. This is my favorite recipe.

This must be the best Alfredo sauce I have ever tasted, and crazy this is one of the easiest recipes I have made! ! !

Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo (1)

The problem with traditional Alfredo sauce is that it requires a “batter”, which can be a bit tricky because if you have high calories or don’t mix it often, it will go bad immediately. Guess what, no batter is needed for this recipe! great!

My husband and I think we are less than 5 dollars for this dinner, because we are 10 dollars each and we only eat half (a family of 4).

So it actually offers 2 meals, which makes this meal only 5 dollars You can feed 4 people… Well, yes, please!

I promise, you will like it…try it…so easy and delicious! ! !

Scale

Ingredients

  • 28 oz. Packages of Cream Cheese
  • Parmesan Cheese (optional)
  • 1 Pouch of Italian Dressing Mix
  • 2 Packages of Fettuccine Noodles
  • 2 Chicken Breasts (boneless and skinless)
  • 210 oz Cans Cream of Chicken Soup

Instructions

  1. Put the Chicken and Cream Cheese in crock pot
  2. In a separate bowl whisk together cream of chicken soup and 1 and a half cans of water and the italian dressing pouch.
  3. Then pour that into the crock pot over chicken
  4. Cook on medium heat for 4 hours (or low for longer)
  5. Remove and Shred chicken once it’s cooked
  6. You will want to whisk the sauce in the crock pot before adding the chicken back (whisk together until the cream cheese is combined, you will need to whisk for awhile so there are no white lumps)
  7. Put shredded chicken back into crock pot and mix with sauce then cook for another 20 minutes while you make the pasta.
  8. Boil water and cook fettuccine noodles
  9. Enjoy!
